Roth IRA Recharacterized Conversions

Conversions from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA are permitted. The investor can then recharacterize the money, but they cannot reconvert until the LATER OF:

» the taxable year following the year they did the first conversion; or
» 30 days beginning on the day on which the IRA owner re-characterizes from Roth back to Traditional.
